Upcoming Upgrade to Hubble Bridge and Recommendation to Withdraw Testnet Funds
Today, we are excited to share some important news with you about our interoperable private blockchain bridge.
First, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you for your continued support and active participation in the alpha testing of the Hubble private bridge. Your valuable feedback and engagement have been instrumental in our development process.
As part of our commitment to constantly improve and innovate, we are thrilled to announce that we will soon be launching a significant upgrade to our blockchain bridge, which includes an entirely new design and enhanced functionalities.
However, please be aware that this upgrade will be incompatible with our prior deployments. Therefore, we kindly ask all users to withdraw all testnet funds from the current bridge by August 21, 2023. After this date, in order to restore control of your deposits, you will need to manually run older versions of the relayer and core infrastructure.
Additionally, please note that the release of the new bridge dApp will introduce a new relayer API utilizing HTTP. This new API will not be compatible with the current live relayer (WSS). Therefore, we will need to temporarily discontinue the bridge before releasing the latest bridge version, to allow us to update the relayer and test the deployment. We will have more details on this through our Twitter.
We understand that this transition might present some challenges, and we want to assure you that we are here to support you every step of the way. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or need assistance during this process.
Once again, thank you for your continued support.
Reminder: Visit the Hubble Bridge to withdraw your testnet funds before August 21.
